The American Public Gardens Association is the leading professional organization for the field of public horticulture.
For this project, I spearheaded and oversaw the execution of a celebration video with the goal to coincide with and compliment the launch of the Association’s 75th anniversary and new strategic plan. This oversight meant sourcing and working closely with a production company, making executive decisions on creative direction and elements like the look, feel, graphics, and accompanying music, as well as writing the script, sourcing photography from member gardens, and ensuring key deadlines were met.

Virtual Professional Development.
Organization: American Public Gardens Association (APGA)
In 2020, along with the rest of the world, the Association underwent a huge shift, pivoting all of its onsite event programming to a virtual format. 2021 saw its most ambitious efforts, averaging 8 virtual events each month, both free and paid, and ranging in a variety of types (Lunch and Learns, webinars, town halls, and virtual conferences and symposia).
My role largely involved editing and managing video assets for both post-event on-demand viewing and pre-recorded files for live viewing. I also assisted with recording presentations via Zoom, resolved sound issues, created complimentary assets, managed post-production assets, wrote descriptions and credits, co-wrote processes and standards, and drafted copyright and attribution policies.

Organization: Plant Collections Network (a flagship program of the American Public Gardens Association)
The American Public Gardens Association Plant Collections Network coordinates a continent-wide approach to plant germplasm preservation, and promotes excellence in plant collections management.
For this project I took raw, pre-recorded Zoom videos and edited them together to create a single, cohesive video. During the process I also resolved synching and sound issues and created complimentary assets.
