Recent Work:
Audio Production.
I produced and edited both of these audio pieces for All Roads Magazine. The first is a short teaser for an upcoming horror podcast and the second is a recorded interview. The music used in The Dark Driver teaser is Night Sound, generously provided by Prom Queen (Leeni Ramadan); the sound effects were provided by various contributors via FreeSound.org, SoundBible.com, and Zapsplat.com. Walt Gray is a mocap actor, voice over artist, and director based in Los Angeles. The music used in his interview was provided by Manuel Ochoa.
Video Production.
For this project, I spearheaded the execution for a celebration video that was to coincide with and compliment the launch of the Association’s 75th anniversary and new strategic plan. This meant sourcing and working closely with a production company, making executive decisions on creative direction and elements like the look, feel, graphics, and accompanying music, as well as writing the script, sourcing photography from public gardens, and ensuring key deadlines were met. The production of this video was done by Center City Film & Video.
Editorial.
As Associate Editor of Public Garden, I work closely with the Editor-In-Chief and Managing Editor to ensure the content of the magazine meets the overall standards of the Association, represents the full scope of work being done by its membership, and reflects the wide diversity of expertise in the industry as well as its geography. I do this by participating in editorial meetings, reviewing and selecting submissions, pitching ideas, sourcing authors, tracking ad artwork, copyediting, reviewing designer drafts and proofs, and managing the online presence for each issue.
Writing.
From scripts to digital content to short stories and beyond, I have 15 years worth of creative, marketing, and communications writing experience in professional settings. Whether a product description, marketing e-blast, or written interview, I know how to tailor content, voice, and style to suit the medium, speak to an audience, and meet goals. Additionally, my short plays have been produced by theaters in both the Pittsburgh and New York City areas.
